Into the Magic Shop by James R. Doty

4.0

I listened to this as an audiobook and wished the author read it himself but it was ok as is. He has a very interesting life story and I like how he reflected on what he learned throughout. I find it a little strange that through the entire book he talks about Ruth’s magic but he never went back to find her until she would have been 90. The writing was ok, completed by a scientist and not a literary genius but that’s what you get with memoirs. There were many parts that I was like, “I can’t even imagine this in my own life”. A good read. I’m thankful for his contribution to Cyberknife technology because it’s been a game changer for people with brain tumors and has definitely helped a few of my friends.
