Twintuition: Double Vision by Tia Mowry, Tamera Mowry

5.0

This was a cute mid-level children's book. Perhaps I was a little biased because I've always loved Tia and Tamera, and I was definitely projecting them on to Cassie and Caitlyn. This reminded me a little of Twitches but for a slightly younger audience. There were a few things that could have been a better developed, like the minor characters for instance, but being that this is a series instead of a stand-alone novel I think there's room to make that happen. I did like the ending: wrapped up enough that you don't have to continue the series if you don't want to, but a small cliff-hanger or wonderment that leads right into the next book for those that wish to stick with the series.

I'd recommend this to young readers, late elementary to middle school girls especially.

Oh, and yay for (hopefully) being a children's lit major and being able to read these kinds of books as "research"! :)
