Origins: Fourteen Billion Years of Cosmic Evolution by Donald Goldsmith, Neil deGrasse Tyson

challenging informative slow-paced

4.0

While parts of this were a little deep in terms of understanding physics and the science behind things, as a whole this was a fascinating look at the universe. How we think it started. How it continues to be a dynamic place, even if all we can see is an infinitesimal speck of it. It also makes us see just how much actually has to align for life to form. If nothing else, it puts into perspective just how small we are, and how vast the unknown is. Which can be at turns terrifying, and comforting.
