The Girl Upstairs by Georgina Lees

4.0

This book suprised me and I wasn't expecting it at all. I expected a 3 star semi generic thriller (sorry Georgina) but I was wrong. I loved Suzie. I felt for her, her grief, I felt it and my heart ached.
Emily. Oh Emily. I related far too much to her, it was painful but brilliant.

My only real gripes were the convience of another character relating to Suzie seemed a little contrived and unnecessary, and there being a few lose ends that hadn't been tied up by the final page. Nothing major but enough that I don't feel entirely satisfied.
