This book was so good I finished it in a day! I did get a bit tired of Claudia’s constant lack of self esteem with her inability to read. She seemed reasonable enough so I wanted to constantly jump into the book and tell her it’s okay to ask for help despite what a few bullies say! I know what it’s like to be that age, but it got tiresome chapter after chapter. Additionally, it was a bit frustrating when she didn’t speak up about her friend missing throughout the story because she had no confidence in herself. Overall, this book has a gripping plot and makes you forgive the flawed, sometimes annoying characters. It’s truly a wonderful story of friendship that becomes sisterhood.
