Buddha, Volume 1: Kapilavastu by Osamu Tezuka

Once you get past the first few pages, this manga does a great job of making the tales of Buddha interesting and accessible. I was surprised how many similarities to the Bible stories I noticed (plague of locusts, David and Goliath, mystery holy pregnancy). It was a quick read and I'm interested to see where the tales take us in the next book.
