Good Girls Don't Date Rock Stars by Codi Gary

3.0

Ok, first off... this isn't about a rockstar. It's about a country star.

Ok, that's out of the way.

Gemma wakes up in Vegas. Married. (when I read that I was terrified that this was going to be a Stage Dive knock off... but don't worry, it's not. Bullet dodged!)

Like I said, Gemma had too much champers and drunkenly married her high school sweetheart Travis Bowers. Travis is now a famous country singer and is just as sweet as honey. Travis has spent the last 10 years wondering why Gemma ran away. Gemma has spent the last 10 years thinking Travis was a cheating dog and hiding the fact that they have a child together.

You know were this is all headed, right?

This was a sweet, easy read. It wasn't deep, it wasn't intense, it was just enjoyable. Even if it was predictable.

I have to admit, even though I like Gemma, I never forgave her for keeping her son from his father. You just don't do that. It made it hard for me to want her and Travis to be together because I felt like Travis deserved better. But, it's a story and every story needs drama...so there you are.

If you are headed out to the pool this summer and want a fun, light book that will give you a sweet HEA this book is worth a read!
