The Girls I've Been by Tess Sharpe

5.0

this was definitely one of those thrilling books that you don’t want to put down, and i loved everything about it. i loved the switching storylines, from the bank to the past to all of the girls nora has been, and the scratched off assets and plans list at the beginning of each chapter. i hung on hoping to discover her name, to learn all of the details of what she did and why. the plot and the characters were well-fleshed out and stunning. the craft that has to be put into a book like that to make it so perfect has to be insane, and the writing was incredible and beautiful. this book had everything, and was everything. and the fact that the main character was a morally grey bi girl, and it was discussed that her girlfriend had endometriosis (which i had never seen mentioned in a book before. why don’t books with cis women as main characters ever mention the pains of having a period?) was the icing on the cake. brb recommending this book to everyone i know
