Purely Novel Intent by Michele Lenard

2.0

Overall, this book is full of basic cliches: the FMC is beautiful but doesn't know it, sexy librarian fantasy, forbidden romance (which I usually love).

Basic summary: FMC works for an education start up company and wants to write children's books but moonlights as a romance author to make money. FMC falls for her boss's brother, who is supposed to be off limits. Basic summary should make for a pleasant story; however, the writing felt forced. The story felt forced. Parts of the dialogue and plot give the impression that the author of the book is ashamed by what she writes, which really killed the entire book for me.
