East Coast Girls by Kerry Kletter

4.0

This was a story about the friendship of four girls, and how one night and one tragedy can fracture something so valuable. When one horrific night happens each of the ladies deal with it in their own way each one has a certain amount of guilt and they question many things about their life. When that one incident also tears apart some of the friendships, your left wondering what the real underlying cause was. This is a story about four women who intended to be lifelong friends, finding their way back to each other, and realizing that sometimes love just isn’t enough. Each of these women are broken in their own way, and when they are brought back together 12 years later for a weekend, you get to see that true friendships help fix the cracks and brokenness of the other people that she once cared about and loved. I thought that the author did an excellent job of writing the story, and letting you get perspective from each character, I strongly felt that I was each character throughout their journey.
