The scientific ideas were interesting but I found that there author's personal story around cheating to not be ingratiating, and had I known there several mentions of suicidal ideation I wouldn't have read this book.

I genuine enjoyed some of the philosophical and scientific discussions around language and existence, bodily autonomy, and categorizing the natural world. The peripheral stories just weren't for me
