One of my favorite books ever! I could not put this down. I love Jane's character - how she thinks, feels, acts, - she's just so interesting.
Her and Rochester's relationship is so fascinating, and I'd honestly read a spin-off just about him. He's also really interesting. I was absolutely not expecting Jane to run away and that is such a great example of the ideas of the time about marriage in terms of religion. The contrast of St. John to Rochester was also really neat. Such an interesting foil.
This book is so beautifully written and captivating. I really just enjoyed every single part of it and would recommend it a million times.
