I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

challenging dark emotional reflective sad medium-paced

5.0

Absolutely worthy of every rave review it's been given and then some. I don't want to call this McCurdy's magnum opus if only because the obvious skill at play in this book--particularly the incredibly strong grasp of voice and subtle characterization--deserves to be developed and grown. I hope she writes more novels, perhaps even fiction, because I think her talent would be electric in such a medium.
