Having been a fan of ACOTAR, I was a little intimidated to jump straight into this one.
However, I regret nothing.
I heard people say that they found TOG to be slow. I did NOT. I devoured this book in 2 days and was anxious to get to the second one. When I tried Assassin's Blade prior to this one, I didn't care much for Celaena. I found her to be an insufferable, spoiled brat. She annoyed me more than anything. But in *this* book? My opinion was completely changed. This series is 1000% worth the time and the effort and dare I say, better than ACOTAR in my very humble opinion.
