I almost dnf-ed until about 3/4 of the way through then I loved it. It was mysterious, sweet, and adventurous. I took off a star because the characters did not seem very believable- high school kids living on their own in a manufacturing warehouse turned apartment? I also struggled to wrap my head around the magical aspects. Really this lost a star for me because the plot didn’t come together until there were 100 pages left. Those last 100 pages though.. I’m excited to read the 2nd in the series!
