I fell in love with the writing of S.A. Barnes reading Dead Silence. Her writing style, attention to detail, emotional drive of main characters, and ability to build such a detailed and tense atmosphere drives me to finish her books in less than 7 days! Barnes has the ability to make you feel like you are standing in the middle of every interaction, part of every fight, and grieving right along with the characters at every loss. None of those things changed in Ghost Station.
Barnes takes you into space to explore an abandoned planet full of unanswered questions and, what we eventually find out, is a missing crew. Without giving too much away, prepare yourself for answers you did not expect! I even found myself saddened with the loss of certain characters
Although, I really enjoyed this book, Dead Silence will stay locked in at #1 for me.
8/10 recommend!
