I wanted to like this one much more than I did. By page 250..I just don't care much anymore. The story stories were certainly related, but I only slightly cared about the morgen story and did care about the 1890 story at all. I skimmed to the end and moved on. Life is too short to read books that don't grab ya. However....since it is a cozy set I g the PNW, I will look at the second book to see if it is more enjoyable for me.
