This was a very satisfying ending to the trilogy. I especially enjoyed the dual pov as it was the perfect way to tell the story of the last book.
Personally, I am not the biggest fan of Garner's storytelling because I feel like the jumps in time sometimes make things seem to random or like the characters aren't as important as they should be.
I still enjoyed Tella more than Scarlett but I definitely grew fonder of Scar in this book. Scar turning out to be half-fate came as kind of a surprise but then again it explained why she had been seeing colours all the time and why the sisters look nothing alike. I am still not quite sure how I feel about Tella and Jacks because I felt like there were too many things unexplained to believe he would have become so obsessed with her. I enjoyed that Tella and Legend finally got together and felt like him sacrificing his immortality for her was a very fitting ending to their love story. She truly did safe him.
