**2020**
If I actually averaged out my ratings, this would actually be a 4 star book. But I feel like it deserves the full five stars. Not only were basically all of these stories amazing, but the Final Problem was much more interesting then I expected. Also I feel like Doyle deserves an extra star because he had a story centered around a horse and he didn't loose me immediately.
I haven't read any reviews of any Sherlock Holmes stories, so I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not. But I love the stories were Watson and Holmes show up and their help isn't necessary to solve the mystery. Sometimes they don't work for me (Gloria Scott) but I still have so much fun with them.
Silver Blaze - 3/5 - Horse involved but still a solid mystery
Yellow Face - 5/5 Basically solved itself and slightly stumped Holmes
Stock Broker’s Clerk - 4/5 Accidental reread, but still good
Gloria Scott - 2/5 Interesting story but not good and Holmes was not needed in the mystery
Musgrave Ritual - 5/5 Would not have been solved without Holmes and was a fun puzzle
Reigate Puzzle - 5/5 Very good story and mystery
Crooked Man - 4/5 Holmes wasn’t needed but the drama was great
