Hard and Fast by Erin McCarthy

After Flat-Out Sexy, I was curious to see where the author would take the rest of the series. Will it be more raunch and less romance or more romance and less raunch? I'm glad that she somehow managed to balance the two. I didn't really like, or even understand Ty in the first book but since this book was all about him, I got to really dig him.

In the first book, he came off as a dick, a little bit, but he was all macho and male in this one. He still maintained a little bit of that bad-boy side but you get to see him as more mature than he was presented in the first book. I can't say I was crazy about Imogen. She's logical and all, and a little uptight and I understood where she was coming from but I have to admit that this book belonged to Ty. Ty was the funny one, whenever he came on, I was entertained.

I loved the seks in this book. They were really well-written and fit with the characters. I read them word-by-word, which I have to admit, I usually don't do in most books. Anyway, definitely a great read.
