Zero Saints by Gabino Iglesias

I loved this book! The beginning starts off with a bang and leaves you with lingering questions about what exactly is going on with this tattooed gang. The setting is gritty. The protagonist is a flawed drug addict which adds a new level to his humanity and likability. I mean, who wants a perfect, goody goody protagonist anyways? The middle slowed down a bit and I really wish I could read Spanish, but the ending is a quick blast of action that left me wanting more story.

The biggest question I had after reading Zero Saints is what was in the bucket?! I highly recommend this one to anyone interested in horror, action, and just a touch of ambiguity.
