Daredevil, Volume 1: Devil at Bay by Mark Waid, Peter Krause, Javier Rodriguez, Chris Samnee, Marc Guggenheim

3.0

I think it's a little bit ridiculous that Marvel started renumbering titles at 1 all over again. I also dislike the fact that they only released this one in paperback, after I bought all of the rest of Waid's run in hardback.

But none of those things speak to the story or the art at all. Chris Samnee's art is consistent and well-fitted to the story. And Waid's writing was good as always, but in this one, it felt a little less grounded than usual. Perhaps something about moving Daredevil across the country left the storytelling a little unrooted as well.
