This is a solid debut novel about a true crime podcaster who’s tackling a decades old serial killer case. I enjoyed the writing style, the flicking between a classical narrative and podcast transcripts. As a true crime lover myself, this was very much up my streak.

I felt some things could have been elaborated on, and I understood quite early on how things were going to turn out. But it’s well paced and kept an enjoyable tension all the way through, so it was a fine book nevertheless.
