Holy moly please check TWs before reading this book because it is one big heap of possible triggering subjects. Also keep in mind that this book is 600 pages, so not a quick read.

That being said: I really enjoyed reading this book! So thank you to @theauthor.agency and the authors for giving me this ARC.

Abby is a serial killer. She killed her abusive husband and after that she started killing men like him with her own brand of poison. When she starts working as an executive assistant to Roman, a mafia don, she tries to kill him as well.. only to stop herself because she can’t help feeling like they are very similar deep inside (as well as crazy attracted to each other). But will he figure out that she’s the one killing his men?

While I love mafia dark romance, serial killer was new to me and I have to say it’s not my favorite (I lose all my feminist sides when reading mafia and prefer helpless virgin heroines, sorry!). Then again I do love it when the MC’s find each other in their darkness and this book really delivered on that.

There’s some very spicy scenes in this book, however I do feel like the darkness is more present in other parts of the story. But I have read some crazy stuff so my mind might be corrupted 🤷🏼‍♀️ The 🌶️ is wild and crazy, as well as rough and degrading at times.
