"Ban this Book" by Alan Gratz is the story of an elementary student whose favorite book gets banned from the school library.  She doesn't understand why "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" would be banned and finds out that one of her least favorite classmates' parents have demanded that the book be pulled off the shelf.  Can Amy Anne find her voice and help fight the banning of books? What happens when more books are banned? Can Amy Anne and her friends come up with a solution to save both their school library as well as the librarian? This is a humorous tale of what one girl and her friends do to help everyone see why books shouldn't be banned.
