I cannot lie... This book is as good as people say. The progression of Elizabeth's feelings, along with the gradual exposition of all characters relevant, is woven together beautifully. There is little else to say that hasn't been said already. I am docking half a point simply because the prose requires a LOT of focus to get into; this book is not something to casually pick up and read unless you are already used to 1800s English.
