Distress Signals is her debut. Adam’s girlfriend Sarah doesn’t return from a business trip. Desperate to find out what has happened he begins to investigate himself, discovering their relationship wasn’t as rosy as he thought. Interspersed with Adam’s sections are some from a child called Romi. His sections seemed to interrupt the main story arc but he was a compelling character and of course the storylines did converge. Overall though it felt like there was a bit too much happening plot wise to make a fully satisfying read. My key take home was to avoid cruises since they seem to fall into a legal no-man’s land.
