I didn't want this book to end. I love this series, I love the characters (every single one of them) and I love this book.

There are critics of Cassandra Clare and I cannot dispute a lot of what they say. This is not the best written book ever, it is flawed and predictable. But I am not only an intellectual creature, I am an emotional one and this book is bursting with emotion! It has despair, fear, anger and sadness, but mostly, it is about love. Almost everyone falls in love, over-the-top and ridiculous love, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The scene in the stairwell where Will declares his love for Tessa so passionately is implausible, people are not so brave and vulnerable in real life, but it made me swoon! The main love scene ( I will not spoil it) is steamy enough to convey the intensity and urgency of the desire while remaining within the expected limits of an YA novel. I read it probably 10 times, I might go reread it now................

.........OK, I'm back...swooon!!!!

The ending was interesting...lets just say this author believes in having your cake and eating it too! I like it!

This review doesn't do the book justice. It's difficult for me to write good reviews. I can rant when a book pisses me off but this one left me warm and fuzzy, I don't know how to convey the awesomeness of that without spoilers. Read it with an open heart and enjoy!
