Above All Things by Roslyn Sinclair
4.0
4.5 - I like this way more than the first part. Starting the book with a relationship Julia and Vivian are finally talking to one another. "Truth And Measure" had too bad / no communication - which put both characters in a bad light, IMHO. Now they approach problems together, even if they clash with each other. "Above All Things" is a sweet story about problems in a new relationship, about being workaholics and how make it work.
I still think we could forgo one or two sex scenes and instead show Julias growth through handling her family or new job with Simon. It left a slight doormat-aftertaste or like some threads are being forgotten. Especially since one dramatic arc was initiated by Simon.
The real plus is getting to know Vivian a little better. Seeing the ice queen persona melt a littel towards Julia is endearing and somewhat redeeming.
