I like comic books. It’s a nice break and the pictures are always an absolute treat. I normally love most spider-man books and this one had a lot of hype around it. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but it just got a bit too….stereotypically superhero at the end for my taste. I think I potentially came in with expectations and was disappointed when they went unmet, but still. I think it’s selling itself as a story it isn’t.
