The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

4.0

Full of romance, tenderness, and beauty, The Notebook is one that cannot be put down.

Allie and Noah's relationship is one that everyone wants to strive for. It is pure magic; reading it makes me feel all happy inside. They held on to that single flame of love that they lost, and when they reunited that flame turned into a roaring fire, showing their love never went away, it was just put on pause for awhile.

This was a pretty short book, however it was the perfect length. There was so many details in the pages and the time period covered was only a weekend in the past and maybe a month in the present. I really liked this book, and I've already seen the movie and I wasn't disappointed at all. The movie followed the story for the most part which I am thankful for.

I would recommend this book as a summer read because of the length. I would also recommend it to people who are straight up romance because that is what this book is about. When I think Nicholas Sparks, this is what I think about and I'm so glad that it was as romantic as I pictured it would be.
