After ripping through the 1st series set in this world I was delighted to discover this was released shortly after I finished. I entered it with high expectations and while I will most definitely be continuing with the series as they are released I felt this lacked something the first set of series did. It didn't feel as fully formed, a bit flat if you will.
My major complaint is I felt the character arc of who Leesha was in the 1st series to the overbearing, regal, primp and proper character you are presented with in this series is jarring and I felt an injustice to her beautiful character work in the 1st series.
