A Boy's Will, by Robert Frost

3.5

Robert Frost wrote pretty simplistic poetry about pretty simplistic ideas. I listened to this on audiobook and the narrator gave a really ardent performance that didn't feel in line with the work or poet. That being said, this collection does a great job of transporting you to the place Frost may have been. His descriptions of nature and the changing seasons are great but he also really gets across this sense of loneliness and hopefulness and gratitude you might feel if you were to live in an isolated nature-filled place.
