Detective Cross by James Patterson

2.0

As a psychologist Alex Cross comes across as a great advertising executive. Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware is a psychologist and the career path of the author's before they wrote novels shows in the quality of their characters.
Anyway this is called Detective Cross and apparently fits in the series prior to the recent novel although according to another website it was published after that novel.
Anyway it has Cross suspended and a mad bomber on the loose.
The moments where they "broke the case wide open" were so obvious that any detective who had not investigated these matters would not last long as a detective.
The book was not long enough to explore anything in great detail and seemed like an excuse to bring out another Cross book and make more money.
Below average.
