The Snowman by Jo Nesbø

2.0

Confusing and yet very predictable. Even though I read thriller novels all the time I don't tend to figure out the twists, and yet this time I did quite easily. What can I say? Maybe Jo Nesbø just doesn't do it for me. Even the ending, which I've seen receiving praise, I found to be incredibly cliché. There's something I've observed both in Nemesis and the Rebreast (and Idk maybe I'm the one who's dumb): I think his writing is unnecessarily complicated. Like, drawn out sentences are used to describe simple things, in my opinion to distract readers from realizing that the plot is not that original. It's so exhausting! So even though I didn't hate it and I thought the middle part was fine enough, I don't think I'll be reading another Harry Hole book soon. Long ass review over.
