This one did not make me weep like his previous novel but it still tugged my heartstrings.
As someone who has experienced a loss of a prominent figure in life multiple times, this was relateable. the feeling is relateable.
Dustin writes about grief in a very poignant way. It evokes emotions in you that you kept hidden for so long. He describes it as a returning friend helping you move forward but yet letting you know that they are still there in any shape or form.
I loved this book and the plot twist just made me go 😳
