First off, I loved the KinnPorsche BL drama! It was so good. I knew I needed to read this after the series ended. I’m glad I gave myself some separation because the novel and show are different. The characterizations of Kinn & Porsche not like they are in the show. Kinn is way more violent and aggressive while Porsche is definitely more stubborn. The darker tone drew me in and kept me there. Now I’ve been told that the novels escalated things in the show in terms of topics, but the one scene I was warned about didn’t hit me the way I expected. That isn’t to say the scenes covering blurred consent and suicidal ideation weren’t hard to read; just for me, it wasn’t as difficult as it was made out to be.

I def recommend watching the show and am eagerly awaiting the official English translations for the rest of the novels.
