I'm not usually a fan of book two of a series, but this one wins!
Diana and Matthew growing as a couple was beautiful to read. Gallowglass? Do I even need to say a word about our beautiful man? But what really got me in this was Diana's relationship with her father, and Phillipe. Her and Phillipe's goodbye had me sobbing so hard I had to take a break!
