The thing about Alice Feeney's books is that it is really either a hit or a miss for me. I've read 3 of her books and have come to the conclusion that my only favorite is Daisy Darker.
I do however understand the appeal & why some people would REALLY rave and speak about her books highly. There are usually plenty of plot twists that are uncalled for in her books but it usually is a stretch.
I really do not enjoy the "His" version of this story because he was just there as a distraction & was pretty much unnecessary. I will say that the last chapter truly threw me off guard and I had the wrong killer in mind all along, which was similar to Daisy Darker only that I enjoyed the writing and characters in there better than this one.
