Prozac Nation by Elizabeth Wurtzel

5.0

I read this book as part of an assignment, I began rushing it but found from the very first chapters I was involved and enjoyed reading the book.
I thought the language and the narrative was carefully constructed and holds as a great piece of literature about depression. It's not the most profound book ever written, as a memoir, in its very essence, the book is self-involved and indulgent. I see by large this is the main criticism by many of the book. And in that case, memoirs may not be for you. However, I found it voiced things that I have always thought about depression, but didn't have the words for. I only wish I had read this sooner
