A pretty fun and enjoyable YA read despite the rather dark subject matter.
Sometimes I really enjoy a YA mystery and this one delivered for the most part. It did feel extremely unrealistic at times - why was everyone freely answering these questions from a teen girl doing a school project? And, if I'm honest, had I not been as far in and hooked as I was, I would have DNF'ed whenBarney was killed. I don't like animal death as a plot device.
But, overall, if you let yourself dive into the world and let the mystery unfold, it's a fun time! The full cast audiobook was a treat too. If you're looking for a true crime-esque YA romp with a FMC, it's an ideal read!
