Ugh, ok. I finished my reread just in time for CC3 to come out TONIGHT. I'm so glad I reread these books. There is SO much information that my brain literally did not hold a lot of it the first time through. Which you might not appreciate if you're not invested in the Maasiverse. But I'm invested, so I loved it.

This book didn't quite grab me as much as CC1 did until near the end. We learn more about different characters in this one, so we do get more POVs. I did love that - especially Ithan's POV. I am so interested to see where his story goes. I mean, that last sentence. You don't think something is going to grip you after reading the last chapter, but the epilogue was a doozy.

And now that I've read TOG, I was picking up on so many connections. Can't way to see if I'm actually right or just delulu. Probably delulu, but it's fun attempting theories.
