I'm gonna be honest, I didn't love this book. It felt like it didn't have a proper reason to be, the story was not really a story, but rather a description of random things going on. Narratologically speaking, at least, I struggled to find a clear initial situation - main body/development - conclusion structure, and not in a "cool, 'in media res' start" kind of way. It felt like the book was just there, with no starting point and no direction.
It also didn't help that the main character was absolutely insufferable.
