This book was great right off the bat. You think you’re going in for a slow burn sort of stalker thriller but it picks up right off the bat. Some of the more crazy, unexpected, wild plot lines are written so bluntly that you’re expecting a “haha just kidding that didn’t actually happen” but then you don’t get one. I’m stuck between loving Delilah and being afraid of her mastermind genius! I definitely recommend. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I felt like the story between Logan and Delilah started at a 10 and I would have preferred a bit more build up to the place in which they were at throughout the entire book.
Logan shows interest in Delilah and immediately finds everything out about her, then they go on their first date. Delilah discovers Logan’s motives immediately following that first date. As bad as it may sound, I almost would have preferred for Delilah to stay in the dark about Logan’s motives for a bit and to begin really falling for him, to then find out his plans. It would have allowed for an interesting internal conflict for Delilah about her feelings for Logan versus her feelings about him and his stalking of her.
