CW: discussion of past abuse, mention of car accident.

I've eagerly been awaiting Tarek's book and damn it was worth it. sooo worth it. Nina my god she stole the book for me. I just adored her. Adored her with Tarek, adored them together.

Nina is an abuse survivor and Tarek has some past demons. Together they're just amazing??? Man Dakota does character development and just has so many layers to the characters she creates. How could i not fall for them?

Banter. So much banter. My weakness truly. Nina and Tarek made me laugh and deploy a lot of eye emoji cuz daaaaamn so steamy but almost made me cry too. Whew, the discussion at Nina's place.

Duke and Nate make a couple appearance and I gotta say i love when those three are on page together. Grumpy early morning Duke with his hoodie up is hilarious. We get to see Robyn and Kennedy as well!

I also loved the relationship between Nina and her sis. Love that she had her support system in place already and it was there and ready to give advise when the rough patch rolled around.

I also felt like Nina's fears were portrayed so real. Like they didnt just evaporate after meeting Tarek. They were still there and seeing how she handled that really struck me in the feels.

Would highly rec this entire series!
