I wanted to rip Ruth a new one! David too! How could he let this go on for so long without telling someone or helping?! It really made me mad, and idk if that was the books intention, but I was passed at some points. I watched the movie after I read the book and. As always, the book was better. I like the inner monologues of characters that you just don’t get in the movies a lot of the time. ANYWAY, I definitely recommend this book.
