America #10 by F Flaviano, Gabby Rivera, Jen Bartel, Joe QuiƱones

This was a little better. I liked the parallels between Brightly trying to steal America's identity and power and cultural appropriation. At least, that's the parallel I think Rivera was making. In addition to the (slightly heavy handed) focus on self empowerment, I think this plot also had a message about white people trying to steal power from marginalized groups for their own gain and America wasn't having that. I thought it was a good ending.

I didn't care for the rest of it. I feel like America's supporters are nameless to me aside from David and X'Andria. I still have no real clue what purpose they serve. It's like watching them play video games and speak to each other over the phone or something.

I have one more issue left.
