3.5 stars. I did like this book. Time travel always boggles my mind a bit. Even with the complexities of that, at times the book felt a tad simplistic, aimed at a younger audience than the main character (around 16 years old).
It's been ages since I read "Timepiece" ... another time travel novel. I don't remember too much about it, but just enough that a few things seemed a bit familiar. Even the CHRONOS name ... It also reminded me a bit of "The Missing" series, where kids go back in time to correct historical events.
The relationship between Kate and Trey did seem really fast. I wasn't quite sure I bought it.
It didn't have a completely cliff-hanger ending, but there were certainly a ton of things left open for a continuation of the series. I'll plan on continuing it ...
