This book was better than its writing. It offers a fairly good sci-fi detective story from the viewpoint of a Replicant. The emotional content is quite good, bordering on great. It's hard to say if some of the linguistic oddness is an artifact of its translation from Spanish or if the author is a bit clumsy at times. I feel like this universe and main character could use another book or two to flesh out. 3.5 stars (rounded up).
