I loved this book! I am so glad that the algorithm on instagram brought this book and author to my attention! The cover is beautiful and drew me in immediately.

Loved the glossary and the map is gorgeous! Just some extras that were nice to have.
The Aviary aspect was perfect! I loved that they got new bird related names.
Loved all the characters, and the found family aspect.
As much as I love a slow burn, this book had a second chance romance that kinda got to the point in a timely manner instead of making you beg for it 😂 I appreciated that a lot!
The trials to become a queen not being the main plot was interesting. I’m glad it didn’t drag on forever.
I like how the story played out, and that there is a lot more to be explored!
Can’t wait to find out in the next book!
We just got a peep of the magic system, so I am really curious to see where that goes! That ending definitely has me hooked and wanting more!

Thank you for letting me be an early reader!

I received this ARC for review from the author and BookFunnel. These thoughts are my own.
